Centennial Swing Dance Party Jan. 28

Centennial Swing, a jazz band within the Globe-Miami Centennial Band group, will present their annual dance party fundraiser, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in the third-floor theater at the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts in downtown Globe. Dress is "date night" (in the Jazz Age if you desire). The Copper Community Players will provide a no-host bar and the entire third floor will be open so that guests may dance, nibble on treats and visit with friends. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with music from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and are available in advance at the Center for the Arts, 928-0884 or from the band, 928-200-9100. Seating is limited.
