First Friday Downtown Globe -- Food Trucks, Music, Craft Vendors -- AZ PoppyFest "Pop-Off" Event

Food trucks, live music and a bangin' DJ too -- funky gifts to delight you at a vendor court near the arts center -- and merchant specials all up and down Broad Street make downtown Globe a hoppin' place to be on the First Friday each month.

April 7 brings a wildflower-themed 'Poppy Fest Pop-Off'; street tacos, BBQ and other savory loncheras are corralled in the Old Dominion Parking Lot for the once-a-month food truck roundup.

First Friday always includes unique vendors on Oak Street adjacent to the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts:

buy a jalapeno-cheese loaf of baguette from the Coco Tiki Bread Company, and check out dozens more unique vendors. Are you a maker, baker or crafter? Vendor spaces are FREE -- but vendors must sign-up in advance, call Melissa Steele at 928.200.0836

And don’t miss specials at participating businesses all along Broad Street: a tasty pint of craft beer at Farley’s Pub, the Chef’s Special at Bloom and Bravo, frappe, coffee and even kombucha on tap at Vida e Caffé, or have a swinging time in the batting cages at the Gila County RV Park and batting range for just $10.

This event is part of a month-long celebration of wildflowers during April, sponsored and scheduled by the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce.
