The historic county jail on Oak Street in downtown Globe is famous on the paranormal investigation circuit; housing inmates from 1910-1981, could it be haunted by vengeful spirits of murderers who spent their finals days within the concrete and steel cells? The century-old building was constructed on the site of the town’s original gallows; many believe the ancient concrete and steel structure is haunted by the troubled spirits of former inmates. The historic structure was spotlighted by the popular Travel Channel show ‘Ghost Adventures’ in January, 2018; sparking monthly events where pre-registered guests can observe as seasoned paranormal investigators use equipment to sense the spirit world after dark. Check In will be at 6:45 PM and the plaza is located at 177 E Oak St #171, Globe AZ. Overnight must be 16+
