Reserve spaces soon, ahead of the annual Gila County Gem & Mineral Society’s rock-gem-mineral show and sale Jan. 10-12. Once again the Gila County Fairgrounds is host venue for the event treasured by rock and mineral collectors, fossil hobbyist and kids of all ages. The show runs from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday. Special guest John O’Brien will host ‘what is a fossil?’ presentations all three days at 11:00 am and also 2:00 pm.
> Students and children admitted free> Adult admission $5 per person or $8 per couple Browse specimen display cases, attend demonstrations of silversmithing, lapidary and wire-wrapping; visit with vendors displaying and selling their wares ranging from lapidary equipment to jewelry, books, mineral specimens, copper art and much more.
