The spring plant sale and seed-swap proved such as success, that our Globe-Miami farmers market opens for the season May 6, earlier than usual this spring. Mark your calendar for Cinco de Mayo, and set your GPS for 150 North Pine Street here in Globe, where market vendors setup outdoors around Veteran's Memorial Park, in front of Globe City Hall. Hours are 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturdays through September. Buy locally-grown fruit, veggies, fresh local eggs -- and hearty seedlings ready-to-go for planting in your own garden.
