Globe Rotary Club Annual Dominion Royale Casino Night Feb. 24

Calling all T-Birds and Pink Ladies: Grease Is The Word! Feb. 24 is Globe Rotary Club's Annual Dominion Royale Casino Night, and this year's theme is the beloved 1978 movie musical 'Grease.'  Dressing in character as Danny Zuko, Sandy, Frenchie, Sonny or Putzie is not required but will score you bonus casino bucks if you do! Cobre Valley Center for the Arts hosts this popular event, tickets are $50 each, which includes casino bucks, appetizers, first drink, and  entertainment. Casino Royale is one of our local Rotary Club's most important fundraisers, helping support college scholarships through the Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education; also youth leadership camps, the Southern Gila County 4H Top Gun shooting sports club, Round Mountain, Old Dominion Park, high schools sports and other community efforts.

Another popular annual event sponsored by Globe Rotary is the  Sunrise Challenge 7K trail run which traverses the rocky trails of Round Mountain Park (there’s a 4.3 mile version that day for more leisurely athletes). Our local Rotary Club’s mission “is to serve the people of the Globe community by supporting education, community pride and community activities through financial and other means.
