for Medical/Health Careers
Globe-Miami has an array of free local summer camp options — here's one for students in grades 6-12 with interests in a possible career in health care or the medical field.
Sign up soon for the June 24-26 'Scrubs Camp' which will run all three days from 8:30 - 3:30, includes lunch, and is hosted by Gila Community College, Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, CVIT and CERE. Among other activities, Scrubs Campers will get a guided tour of the hospital, learn how to remove sutures -- and so much more.
Registration is free for all 6-12 graders.
