About the Event

Halloween Broad Street Block Party

* Costume Contest

     * Trick-of-Treat Candy Stations

              * Music        * Car Show         *   Food Trucks

Organizers estimate a crowd of over 5000 costumed kiddos and parading parents throughout historic downtown for this event. The Trick-or-Treat portion of the evening runs from 5:30-7pm, or until each candy station or trunk-or-treat team runs out.

Don't miss food trucks on Oak Street and four music-related hubs (Sycamore, Oak, Mesquite & Hackney); car show participants, family trunk-or-treat stations, Broad Street and sidewalk chalking, storefront candy station decorations contest with people's-choice voting – either by #GlobeAZHalloween, or a voting station at the 1910 Jail. For added fun, the 1910 territorial jail will be open, and free, as a kid-friendly ‘spooky jail’ for round-the-cell block simple tank-walks.

Photographer Yevette Vargas and her team from Ms. Yevette Photography will be onsite for portraits – and every photo taken will be uploaded online for the hashtag-entry social media community costume contest, also free of charge.

Use the #GlobeAZHalloweenSpecial to enter a separate social media pumpkin carving and costume contest, too! This massive event involves so many partners – please take a moment to thank the amazing army of volunteers from the Globe Downtown Association; our hard-working Globe Public Works team, Globe Police, Globe Fire, and other City of Globe staff who collaborate each year to make this event a success.
