Luminarias at Tonto National Monument Dec. 14

Admission is free and the paved path up to the Lower Cliff Dwelling will be lit with luminarias for guests to celebrate the festive season Dec. 14, Saturday night,  from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

** Please note that the evening's last uphill hikers are allowed up until 8:00, then have one final hour to walk up to the cliff dwelling, see the luminarias, then  back down the trail before the park closes at 9:00.

Park Service staff suggest guests bring a flashlight or headlamp for walking up the narrow and winding trail after dark -- also bring water, wear warm clothes appropriate for a winter night, and closed-toed shoes to walk the trail.
