Globe-Miami’s local cast of energetic and talented young actors and singers takes the stage July 5 to present ‘Newsies,’ based on the popular Disney movie from 1992. Summer Youth Musical Theatre Program presents this Tony Award-winning musical about a ragtag group of newsboys who go on strike to fight for what’s right. Newsies JR. is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message perfect for every audience.
Performances debut July 5 at 7:00 p.m., a Saturday matinee July 6 at 2:00 p.m. and again at 7:00 p.m., the next weekend July 12 at 7:00 p.m. and July 13 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m at High Desert Middle School.
