SAILA Junior Livestock Show at Gila County Fairgrounds

The weekend before Halloween promises to be a big event at the Gila County Fairgrounds, when the Southern Arizona International Livestock Association  (SAILA) hosts the annual Wicked Weekend junior livestock show Oct. 28-29. Mid-way through a season that began with the Kingman Classic in May and includes the ‘Holly Jolly Jackpot’ in early December, the October SAILA show here in past years has included a quiz bowl contest, a costume contest appropriate for the weekend -- and even ‘Trailer Trick or Treating’. And, of course, swine, lamb, goat and cattle shows.
