About the Event
Seats are limited for a unique dinner served atop a mesa with 360-degree views that can be among the most breathtaking in Arizona. This event debuted two years ago, includes transportation up-and-over scenic Peridot Mesa on the San Carlos Apache Nation, about 20 minutes drive east of the City of Globe. Last year’s menu was prepared by Apache chef Lydia Miles and included options you’re unlikely to be served elsewhere: shredded beef with acorn, a bean salad featuring tepary beans, and pan-seared elk steak filets – with a perfectly seasoned dab of habanero butter that added just the right amount of heat. The evening includes cultural performances; the 2023 event featured Ken Duncan / Yellowbird Productions – plus an Apache fashion show with designs by Selina Curley.
