Are you a parent with youth aged 12-18, and want to enhance your family's communication skills and problem-solving abilities while building a stronger family? Sign up for UA Cooperative Extension Gila County’s next ‘Family Talks: Money Edition’ workshop series, Wednesday evenings weekly and starting Oct. 23 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. For family convenience, the evening workshops include free dinner each week, and also childcare for younger kids. Plus, the first 12 families to register and complete this series receive $100! Workshops are in-person at Globe High School. This series was designed by faculty and staff at the University of Arizona for parents, or caregivers, and their teens to build skills to manage their finances together, strengthen communication around difficult topics, and set financial goals for the future.
