The Globe–Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce doubles as an official Visitor Center, certified by the Arizona Office of Tourism. Stop in for maps, brochures, event details, and local tips from friendly staff.

By Car:
From Phoenix: ~87 miles east via US-60
From Tucson: ~106 miles north via AZ-77
Public Transit: Cobre Valley Community Transit provides local bus service. The San Carlos Apache Transit connects to nearby communities.
Air: The San Carlos Apache Airport serves general aviation about 7 miles from Globe.

Practical Info
Elevation: ~3,500 ft (cooler than Phoenix summers!)
Weather: Mild winters, warm summers – pack and plan accordingly.
Connectivity: Cell service is good in town but limited in nearby mountains. internet and wifi available at most businesses and free at the chamber of commerce
Local Tips: Wear comfortable walking shoes for downtown, or for our starizona trail ; bring layers for changing mountain weather.
