About the Event
Globe Downtown Association and the City of Globe present the annual Christmas Light Parade Music, food trucks and fun start about 4:00 p.m. -- the parade begins after dusk, about 6:00 pm.

Parade entry applications are available at the Cobre Valle Center for the Arts and also the historic 1910 Jail apply soon to make sure your entry has a spot in the annual Christmas light parade -- deadline to apply is Wednesday Dec. 10.
The event includes music on the old courthouse bandstand starting at 5:00 pm, along with cocoa, popcorn and food trucks on Oak Street. A second announcing station with music and more is usually located near Bailey Street.
Make a full day of it, with other events also downtown on Dec. 13. Bring your kids to the "Read on Express" event at the train depot 12-4pm, hosted by the Arizona Youth Partnership team and a range of local community agencies and sponsors. Your kids can pose with Santa, Mrs. Claus & Christmas characters for holiday card photo-ops, free books are available for children; make-and-take crafts, cocoa & cookies, and a tiny train ride for the kiddos.
