Learn gardening basics and explore more advances topics of horticulture, too, when County Extension Agent Christopher Jones hosts a weekly class that runs Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. til noon starting Jan. 19, and featuring expert guest speakers from throughout Gila County and also the University of Arizona.
Taught in Globe at the Gila Pueblo Campus, you’ll find it listed online as AGR230 “Gardening and Landscape” and offered during Spring semester 2023. Gila-Pueblo Campus is located at 8274 South Six Shooter Canyon Road. County Extension Agent Christopher Jones, and his guest speakers, will host a weekly lecture and provide hands-on activities to make this course exceptionally informative and well-tailored to southern Gila County. Did you know this is among other classes offered free to students age 55 years and older? Make sure to ask about the senior waiver when you register. Cost for the course includes standard tuition and fees required by Eastern Arizona College.
