About the Event
Looking for a way to improve your relationship with your teen, age 12-18, while also learning together to improve communication, build financial management skills, and solve problems together as a family? How about if that evening includes free dinner, too, provided by local restaurants? Sign-up now for a creative evening class series that returns June 9 courtesy of University of Arizona’s Gila County Cooperative Extension staff. Classes 5:30-7:30 p.m. are free, and in an effort to make this as convenient as possible for working parents to attend – include dinner -- plus free childcare to make it easy for the whole family to attend.

Families who register and complete the series will receive $100!
Goals of the classes are to strengthen family communication, tackle tough money topics, and build a solid spending-savings plan—together. UA staff have grown acutely aware of financing and parenting challenges during recent years that many families have faced in our communities and nationwide. This innovative new series offers a hybrid approach to teaching both financial literacy and parenting – while also inviting parents and teens to learn together.
